WHAT WE DO
At Hazlet’s Hope Network we believe in empowering our partners by creating opportunities that uplift individuals and communities. We are committed to combating the stigmas and negative stereotypes surrounding substance misuse disorders—barriers that often cause shame, deter people from seeking help, and lead to further isolation. These stigmas can tragically increase the likelihood of relapse.
Our non-profit organization is dedicated to addressing these societal challenges and mental health crises through a peer-based approach. By acting as a direct intermediary, we work with individuals facing substance misuse disorders and local police departments, whether during substance-related arrests or as a standalone resource in non-criminal scenarios.
Our work goes beyond initial intervention; we maintain close collaboration with treatment centers and provide ongoing support, ensuring a seamless journey toward long-term health and wellness. The Hazlet’s Hope Network's peer-to-peer intervention model offers a refreshing and necessary shift in the fight against addiction, fostering a more compassionate and effective approach to overcoming this disease.
